Organic farmers are finding that there just isn't enough manure to go around. They have turned to supplementing their manure with synthetic fertilizers. Consumers of Organic products pay the extra price to make sure that what they are buying is pesticide and chemical free. There might be something to buying your products right off the farm. You can get to know your farmer and what he/she uses to produce their product.
There is a premium price put on Organic Products and you as a consumer have the right to know if they are playing by the rules.
