Here is a quick update on Maisie's condition as of Sunday, November 21, 2010. Just to recap, she had a stroke last week and is in the midst of her recovery.
Maisie is doing great. She is sitting up, having conversations and eating. Next week, she will be travelling to Brandon to have a CAT Scan to see just where things are at. Things are looking up and we are very hopeful that she will make a full recovery in the next couple of months.
Its not going to be easy. She is a spry 92 year old that is an important fixture in this very small communtiy. Our prayers are with her in this time of her recovery.
Maisie is off to Winnipeg as of Monday, December 6th to begin her recovery. Our best wishes are with her now on her journey. She has come so far in so little time and she is on track for a complete recovery.
