How long this time?
Ever have one of those days that just keeps going... and going... and going? I had a major crash of my computer two weeks ago. Had to break down and take it in for fixin'. Turns out that the software that I had purchased 4 years ago to make sure my registry stayed intact was the culprit for corrupting my registry!! What do ya know? Now that makes me wonder.... is my old computer that is sitting here gathering dust really dead or just playing dead? I bought this program about 4 months before it up and quit. Gonna have ta dust off the old girl and fire her up! There are some things on that hard drive that I may want... including the hard drive! Got this one home.. fired it up.. and it stayed running for all of 1/2 hour. Then it was crash... after crash.. after crash! Somewhere along the line, something happened to one of the files in the driver for my video card. It wouldn't repair and I couldn't upgrade the driver as it was the most current for the card. After many hours of digging, I found driver CD and installed an older version of the driver. Restarted my computer and left it running while I went out to check the animals... more babies!! Came back in and what do ya know?... It's still running!!
Anyway... upwards and onwards!! I have a lot of catching up to do.
